Before registering, you should first decide what service is right for your agency. The Comparison Chart outlines the differences between the two services. Each service has its own registration form, which can be submitted at the individual or agency level.
Law Enforcement and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) users can get online access via the subscription-based Enhanced Law Enforcement Platform (ELEP) service. This service provides information on up to 100 telephone numbers per service, historical data and information for the Service Provider's Law Enforcement Contact.
Law Enforcement and PSAP users may also access ELEP data from an authorized ELEP Clearinghouse.
Email elep@iconectiv.numberportability.com to request additional information about the ELEP Clearinghouse or to register.
Law Enforcement and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) users that are interested in the free telephone-based service should register for the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service. This option provides porting information for up to 20 telephone numbers at a time as well as information to reach the Service Provider’s Law Enforcement Emergency Contact.
